Off Campus Students
Welcome to Bowland College
Bowland truly is the best college on campus, we are centrally located so you will have easy access to all the key facilities the campus has to offer. All college events and activities that take place during the year are open to all students, those living on campus and those living elsewhere. You are a valued member of our college and we want to ensure that your integration goes as smoothly as possible.
All facilities on campus, such as cafes, social spaces, computer labs, learning zones, the library and the sports centre, are all fully available for you to use as well as the college Junior Common Room. The college also provides specific facilities for students who travel in such as a study room, a kitchen and lockers, recognising that it isn’t always practical to go home between classes or to carry books around all day long. Please see our Facilities page for more information.
If you are on campus and need to see someone about a welfare or any other problem, then your first port of call is Lorna Harrison, Bowland College Administrator. Her office is next to the porters lodge in Bowland Main so pop in and see her. For more information on other forms of support we offer in the College check out the Welfare page.
Mature Students Society
There is also a Mature Students Society; an informal social and support group for all Lancaster students, you can meet like minded people at regular weekly catchups.
